It’s important to note that these are just my experiences with the Bleemcast beta. You may or may not have similar experiences with the same games. Some games that are reported to work on other Bleemcast compatibility lists just didn’t work for me, and vice versa. It’s a beta…this kind of stuff is expected...
All screenshots were taken from my, very old, video capture card. It tends to make things darker than they normally are, it also only displays 16-bit color. For most things, it's good enough, but can make dithering show up on things in the game that have no dithering on the TV.
Mortal Kombat: Special Forces - Almost perfect, though I’m sure that doesn’t have too many people excited…this is probably the best example of a glitch free game I’ve seen so far. I mean, I haven’t seen ANY graphic glitches at all in it.
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero - The 3D backgrounds look amazing, but the sprite characters have all sorts of problems: They constantly shake and they animate TOO fast. It looks like they're going through withdrawal or something...
Mortal Kombat Trilogy - Same problems that MKM-Sub showed: The sprite characters shake all the time, and animate too quickly; also, they all have this weird bit of lines around them(the backgrounds will have these lines, sometimes, as well). The voice cuts in and out rapidly, the music will just randomly stop, and uppercutting someone to the next level always kills both. Past that, it looks just like it does on the PSX, but fuzzier…like there’s some sort of screen smoothing going on. Runs a bit too fast...but it's hard to tell as it's such a 2D mess.
Moto Racer 2 - Near perfect. Sound effects cut off if you turn off the music, but upon restarting the race, they come back. The "pause" menu is beyond slow when music is on...
Persona - There's 2D smoothing on the sprites/backgrounds and the music actually plays properly. Unfortunately, you can’t skip past the FMV after you see the ghost of the little girl. The FMV is horrid…sound skips, picture is fucked up...just like in every other game. The 3D “dungeon” crawling, though, looks amazing, and runs damn quick. Everything but the FMV seems to be damn near perfect, but without a save feature, playing it is pretty much pointless.
